Spathiphyllum  is a very popular indoor houseplant. In the warmest parts of Florida you will find Spathiphyllum in the landscape; it performs best in the shade with protection from wind and temperatures below 55 degrees. They are also known to purify the air! The Spathiphyllum produces as flower in spadix form surrounded by a white, yellowish, or greenish spathe.
